What was the tenor of each article or did any publications publish the press release word for word? If you send out press releases within the entire German speaking region, you’d theoretically have to constantly check a large number of newspapers and magazines just so you wouldn’t miss anything. Modern monitoring – digital, efficient, and without legal risks
Gone are the times when we put together our clippings in press reviews using scissors and glue. We now use a modern Press-Monitor® system that enables us to keep daily tabs on about 150,000 articles and to put together digital press reviews for our clients. This system also allows easier and quantitative analysis of the media impact. It lets us calculate circulation totals (readers, listener, and viewers) to get a measure of how much interest a topic generated and at the same time shows the success of our work to our clients.
The qualitative media impact analysis even goes a step further: it not only deals with press clippings and circulation totals, but also evaluates the quality of each publication. Was the information in a given medium represented in a positive, neutral or negative way? How did the presentation measure up compared to the competitors’ articles? Did the presentation underscore the intended message?
