Henrike Fleischmann – creating an appetite for travel through words and images
Since her earliest childhood, Henrike Fleischmann has had a serious case of wanderlust, coupled with enthusiasm for foreign countries, cultural exploration, and a knack for languages. After studying Spanish and Iberian culture, Anglistics, and geography in Bonn and Granada, followed by a stint in Frankfurt for her first job, the trained PR consultant settled in Freiburg im Breisgau in 2008. Henrike has a background of living and working in foreign countries, intercultural competence, and experience working with international clients. While working for a PR agency that specialized in tourism, she was in charge of national and internal accounts from the hospitality sector, tourism offices and airlines.
Henrike Fleischmann develops complex communication concepts and detailed PR plans with as much gusto as she devotes to daily collaboration with clients and journalists. She has been working as a freelance PR consultant since 2005, serving companies from the tourism industry as well as small and medium sized businesses in every sector. A self-proclaimed passionate networker, she boasts an expansive professional network and excellent contacts to editorial offices and publishing houses.
Henrike Fleischmann manages Comaniacs’ core business of press relations. Her portfolio includes everything from developing communications concepts to the creation of PR strategies and the writing of polished press releases. She researches and updates the press distribution lists and is constantly in touch with travel journalists, including joining the media’s representatives on press trips. Since her work requires being on the road a lot, it’s only natural that she is also responsible for establishing new business relationships and adding to Comaniacs’ vast network of contacts.
Frank Liebmann – always curious about the big, wide world
Born in Leipzig – the city of Bach, books, trade shows and an important media hub -, Frank Liebmann has been working as a freelance PR consultant since 2003. He is certified by the venerable German Academy for Public Relations.
In 1989, the watershed year preceding Germany’s reunification, he finished his studies with a degree in power plant engineering. But the revolutionary events in Leipzig opened up new, undreamed-of possibilities. The young engineer took over the department of marketing and public relations for a large energy concern. He expanded his technical know-how through continuous education, professional training and learning-by-doing. After eleven years full of exciting changes and new beginnings, Frank accepted a position with a medium sized software company. Until, that is, it was time to start a business of his own.
Frank Liebmann is Comaniacs’ go-to-guy for customer acquisition, for expanding the network and for all technical and business-related issues. He keeps up with the latest trends in communication, both in the paper and the digital worlds. He also takes care of Comaniacs’ web presence, optimizes the contact data base, makes sure the press releases go out on time and organizes the media monitoring setup.
As a passionate motorcyclist, Frank Liebmann has authored many articles for motorcycle magazines. On his own travels, he prefers to explore the northern parts of Europe where he has made extensive trips throughout Scandinavia, the Baltic countries, and Scotland. He loves photography and doesn’t hesitate to lug around many pounds of professional gear on his travels. As a result, he usually returns with impressive photos, both digital and on the classic slide film medium. For his travel presentations, he likes to blend his stunning photos with good story-telling, taking audiences on breathtaking virtual tours.
